About STAR Labs
An applied research group working at the frontier of spatial intelligence, world modeling, and 3D-native interactive systems.
STAR Labs is an applied research group building the spatial layer of machine intelligence.
We work on the foundational problems that make machines truly understand space — how objects relate, how systems evolve over time, how physical abstractions emerge from raw geometry. Our research spans spatial reasoning, temporal modeling, abstraction learning, and 3D representation.
Our first major artifact is a native world model game engine — not video generation, not a simulation byproduct of robot training. A system built from first principles to understand, generate, and interact with 3D worlds. Human-focused. Composable. Persistent.
We believe the intelligence embedded in physical space is the frontier AI hasn’t fully mapped. Unlocking it opens a wide array of applications — from immersive education to generative design in engineering and architecture.
